Professor Frederick Terry Sr.
a/k/a Gingerbread Fred

Gingerbread University was the "brainchild" of Professor Frederick H. Terry Sr.  a now- retired 30-year veteran of college teaching & Co- Founder of Lobster Roll, Inc., operator of the famed Hampton’s Icon LUNCH, from which he is also retired.​

 Professor Terry & his son Rick created Gingerbread University to provide products and venues where families could enjoy an old/fashioned holiday experience!

​

  Gingerbread University  continues to operate from Eastern Long Island (home of Terrys 12th generation roots), 

 Professor Terry continues to donate a substantial portion of the "University's " profits to The Smile Train in NYC - to provide cleft palate surgery for "kids that cannot Smile"
